First of all you will find lots of questions and answers on our message board at http://groups.msn.com/Steambritecom/general.msnw?action=get_threads&all_topics=0 (http://groups.msn.com/Steambritecom/general.msnw?action=get_threads&all_topics=0)
With over 400 different models to choose from, even I would have a hard time picking our what I would buy for my personal use, and I have worked at SteamBrite for over 20 years! So, I certainly understand your confusion. First, I think you need to decide what tank size you want. To pick out body size by category visit http://groups.msn.com/Steambrite/portableextractors1.msnw (http://groups.msn.com/Steambrite/portableextractors1.msnw).

How many power extension cords do you feel comfortable with? Some cleaning system take one, two, three, or even four circuit breakers to operate the equipment. Power consumption is in direct relation to cleaning effectiveness. The more power and electricity amp your equipment pulls, the faster, hotter, cleaner, and more aggressive your cleaning. For equipment that runs on multiple circuit breakers electrical converter options are available to hook into your customers electric dryer outlet.

The weight of a machine is directly in proportion to the tank size you select and the power of the guts. Larger and stronger machines just weigh more. If you are concerned about your back, folding and straight ramps are available at http://groups.msn.com/Steambrite/ramps.msnw (http://groups.msn.com/Steambrite/ramps.msnw)

Do you want a machine with a heater? Heated machines cost more, weigh more, and clean twice as good as non heated machines. A selection of heated machines are located at http://groups.msn.com/Steambritecom/floodpumperextractors.msnw (http://groups.msn.com/Steambritecom/floodpumperextractors.msnw)
You ask about 'dependable.' Did you know that if I purchased two 100 psi dual 2 stage vacuum extractors from different manufactures and one broke, I could steal the parts out of one to fix the other? All the guts on the inside are made by the same manufactures. The only difference is: "who squirted out the plastic and bolted it together?" Warrantee is the same on all the units http://groups.msn.com/Steambritecom/portableextactorwarrantyinformation.msnw (http://groups.msn.com/Steambritecom/portableextactorwarrantyinformation.msnw)

You can also purchase a 3 or 5 year parts and labor warrantee. See http://groups.msn.com/Steambritecom/extendedinvestmentprotection.msnw (http://groups.msn.com/Steambritecom/extendedinvestmentprotection.msnw) If you think you would ever get into cleaning larger commercial jobs or performing water removal from flooded building and homes, an automatic fill and dump machine is the only way to go. Oops, we added more weight and cost again. Do you think you might ever want to get into air duct cleaning? If so, you need a machine that has 200 CFM or more.

For stair climbing and vacant apartment cleaning the Silver Hawk is the easiest to move around, and get up and down. http://groups.msn.com/Steambrite/silverhawk.msnw (http://groups.msn.com/Steambrite/silverhawk.msnw) Now that I have given you some options to think about, let me tell you what are the best sellers. The 9 to 13 gallon machine tank size are the most popular. Mytee's Speedster line is the #1 best selling line in the country ttp://groups.msn.com/Steambrite/myteeproducts.msnw (http://groups.msn.com/Steambrite/myteeproducts.msnw) They make the machine how you want it, 100 psi, 200 psi, 450 psi, or 1200 psi. with or with out heat, dual 2 or dual 3 stage vacs, with or with out auto fill or dump, 100 CFM or 200 CFM (cubic feet a minute air flow)

Stronger, heavier and more aggressive machines are better sellers than light weight units. #1 best selling machine in the US is the Mytee Speedster 1003 with the electrical converter option.
# 2 best selling line is the Ninja from Century 400 http://groups.msn.com/Steambrite/ninjaextractor.msnw (http://groups.msn.com/Steambrite/ninjaextractor.msnw) The heated, dual 2 stage, 200 psi unit sells the best. # 3 and # 4 are a tie with the Galaxy (http://groups.msn.com/Steambrite/yourwebpage2.msnw) 12 gallon and the PowrFlite (http://groups.msn.com/Steambrite/powerfliteextractors.msnw). Please email me your thoughts and questions. To help with the budget, we have six month, no payment, no interest loan available.

I do not have time to fix it right now. Microsoft decided to remove all my post from my other website.
