Hypro Chemical Injector for Scouts, Hornets, Scout Stacks, Hornet Stacks, Panthers and other machines using 2230B-P, 2345B-P, and other compatable Hypro pumps.
Does not include the 1/8"MIPx1/4"BARB (part A00076) fitting nor the 1/4" clear plastic pick up tubing.

These have to be installed on the suction side of the pump (lower side). You can remove any of the two or three lower caps. It does not mater the location as long as it is lower side. The pump brass cap is not used. The check valve is removed and O ring under the valve cage is removed. Install the large washer with the hole in it (provided with injector), install the O ring, then valve cage, and injector body. Please note in order for the pump to suck chemical, the in coming water pressure needs to be under 20 psi. Most machines use a watts regulator for this.
