The workhorse of the EBAC designs, the MF4 will dry 10,000BF of 1" hardwood reliably and economically. This unit is for commercial operators who are looking for a durable, value-priced unit that will produce high-quality kiln dried wood load after load. Growing as your business grows, the MF4 can be configured to work in tandem with other units (the MF2 and the MF4) to dry up to 50,000BF per kiln charge.
The unit comes complete with powerful internal twin-fans, four external 24" fans, dehumidification system, heating element, master controller, power vent system and stainless steel coils. Designed to deliver bottom-line profits, this rugged, professional drying system provides the reliability you expect and the flexibility you need to efficiently dry all wood species.
Drawing upon over a quarter century of supplying high value lumber dryers to the world market, EBAC provides proven, complete design and construction plans for the MF4 kiln structure as well as a drying schedule for over 118 species of native and exotic wood.
This model is placed in the kiln structure. Two powerful internal fans pull in the wet air from the woodstack. The dehumidifier portion of the unit removes the moisture from the air. The moisture which has been removed from the wood, is drained through a hose to the outside of the kiln. The now dry air is reheated and blown by the four externally truss-mounted fans through the woodstack to repeat the process. Temperature and Relative Humidity are regulated by adjusting the Master Controller, which is mounted on the outside of the kiln structure.
