The Santa Fe is a high efficiency residential dehumidifier that utilizes
refrigeration to cool the incoming air stream below its dew point as it
passes through the dehumidification (evaporator) coil. This cooling results
in the removal of moisture (latent heat) and reduction of the temperature
(sensible heat). The cooled and dried air is used to pre-cool the incoming
air stream resulting in up to a 200 percent increase in overall efficiency.
After the pre-cooling stage the processed air is reheated by passing through
the condenser coil. The latent heat removed by the evaporator coil is returned
to the air stream at this stage as sensible heat, resulting in an overall
increase in temperature from the incoming air.
Controlled by a dehumidistat with positive “ON” and “OFF” settings
Santa Fe has a built-in defrost system that is designed to 55°F.

The Santa Fe is portable and provided with four casters.

The Santa Fe Rx Air Purifying Dehumidifier is a free-standing device that
has been specially designed to provide quieter operation and a finished
appearance, making it suitable for use in offices, residences, libraries
and schools. An optional HEPA or Activated Carbon filtration systems are available.
The standard air filtration is provided by a pleated polyester and cotton blend media
filter located at the air intake at the top of the unit. The efficiency rating of this
filter is 40% in the ASHRAE 52-76 Dust Spot Test.
The optional HEPA filter is a micro-glass paper mini-pleat filter located in a special
housing mounted on the back of the Santa Fe Rx cabinet. The efficiency rating of this
filter is 99.97% on the D.O.P. test.
The Santa Fe Rx is controlled by a dehumidistat with positive “ON” and “OFF” settings
and a variable setting range from “20%” to “80%”.
The Santa Fe Rx has a built-in defrost system that is designed for operation down to 55F.

The Ultra-Aire APD 100V ensures air filtration, fresh air ventilation and
humidity control. It provides a measured amount of fresh air into the home,
which is mixed with indoor air. The air is then filtered to remove airborne
particles and dehumidified to ensure the relative humidity in the home remains
below 50%.
Fresh Air Ventilation: Outdoor air is ducted to the unit via 6" round duct.
This provides necessary air changes to dilute pollutants and maintain high
oxygen content in the air. The amount of fresh air ventilation can be regulated
by a variety of controls.
Air Filtration: A measured amount of outdoor air is combined with indoor air
and passes through the filter chamber. A 30% efficient (ASHRAE Dust spot test)
media filter is standard. An optional 95% efficient (ASHRAE Dust spot test)
pleated media filter is available. If the optional filter is selected, the
standard filter operates as a pre-filter.

The design goal of the Phoenix 300 was to build a dehumidifier that would
maximize the water removal capacity from a single 110 volt, 15 amp circuit.
In order to be a viable product, we had to house this high capacity dehumidifier
in a portable cabinet of manageable size and weight. We also kept in mind the
fine reputation the Phoenix 200 had earned, and knew that the 300 would have to
