Question: Is 2.5" ID hose very popular with carpet cleaning truckmounts?
Answer: Not really. The most common sizes for carpet cleaning is 1.5" ID for portables, 2" ID for truckmounts but Legend Brands and Hydramaster have made some models of machines that use the 2.5" from the waste tank connection to the door of the job and then the operators have to reduce the 2.5" down to 2" with a leader section that connects with the cleaning tools. Best thing to do is simply measure the inside of your vacuum hose or connections to confirm. This ships in a giant box so will be way too expensive to ship back any returns if you order the wrong size.

While the Steambrite website DOES reflect what is available for purchase, it does NOT reflect available inventory at our local warehouse (San Antonio, TX). Special order, or custom build items may take up to 30 days to arrive, but orders shipped from within Steambrite's warehouse inventory are generally processed and shipped in 2-5 business days. Equipment small enough to be sent by ground should typically arrive within 3-5 business days after shipment.
