Generator rules:

Always ground the generator to either to the ground pin of the home electrical outlet and /or with a metal ground stake.

Always use the power evenly.   All generators have two power producing sides.  This means that a 7200 watt generator is really two 3600 watt generators.  Please do not pull all the power out of one side and not the other.  You will notice that their are six standard 120 volt outlets on the generator.  4 receptacles are on one phase of the generator and 2 are on the other phase.  If you are needing a fourth outlet, the best way to accomplish even electrical consumption is with the L14-30R connection to a distribution power adapter or use the L5-30R adapter.   Do not run E85 fuel.  Use ethanol free or premium fuel.  Use full synthetic oil and change oil every 100 hours.   Please note for longest life use ALL generators at 50 to 65% their surge rating.  This means for longest life please use this generator at 4500 - 5500 watts or less.  When you are finished using the generator, turn the fuel ball valve off and let the carburetor run dry so the generator will turn itself off.  Always use a fuel stabalizer.
