Description:

Pressure washing water heaters/burners are made of steel so small particles of rust can clog the finer jets used for tile, carpet, and upholstery cleaning.
Solution to this is to connect 20230629 into pressure washers QD that has female 3/8" QD connections(horizontal) into tee fitting to bleed out rust from burner (faces downward/ vertical) > to high pressure filter (horizontal) and insulated carpet and tile cleaning female quick disconnect. Now you will have an easy to to bleed out the rust while filtering it out at the same time. The insulated carpet cleaners QD makes it easy to remove you carpet cleaning hoses. When you start the job run the first 2 minutes of water out the ball valve to clear out as much rust as possible. Installed filter and carpet cleaning QD are slightly elevated. Tee fitting is vertical with the hose downward and carpet QD and filter on top. As the water leaves the burner the rust will hit the "T" and lets the rust fall into the 60" long hose. Only the cleaner water will flow up hill to the high pressure filter and out the QD.

Quick connection let you easily toggle between using tile and carpet cleaning hose or remove and use your pressure washing hoses.

Please note that the ball valve is only rated for 600 psi and depending on the heat and pressure you use, you might wear it out. We have installed the ball valve at the end of the 60" long hose so it will not be roasted by the heater.

We want you to point the back hose vertical (downward) so any rust that comes out of the heater will flow to the hose and valve while the cleaner water will travel upwards through the high pressure filter and insulated QD.

Please note for shipping reasons we will not completely tighten all fittings so please tape and re-tighten as need to ensure it will not leak for you.

Hydrotek do not include couplers so you typically purchase an extra male plug X male pipe and then purchase the standard female socket rust bleeder. Then also purchase an additional 3/8 female socket X 3/8" male pipe coupler for your hose. Then you can toggle between pressure washing and carpet and tile cleaning.
