Universal Vacuum Booster for Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Machines New easy install vacuum booster adds the performance you always wanted at a reasonable price.
This will get carpet drier and allow you to operate at longer lengths of hose without suction loss.
Fits on any portable that uses a black twist lock or 6" clear screw in lid. For portables with 6" clear screw in lid, simply remove your clear 6" screw in lid and replace it with this screw in booster. Portables with the black twist lock lid, this booster includes the replacement outer black ring to convert to a 6" screw in lid. When converting machines with a black twist and lift lid to screw in lid, we recommend you purchase an additional clear screw in lid (link below.) or simply use butterfly bolts or fender washers to grab the plastic all the way around the lip opening.

Please note that boosters will increase you CFM of you machine an not the max inches of lift. Booster will increase you "use" inches of lift not your max inches of lift. Max inches of lift is taken at zero cfm, "use" inches of lift means with 100 feet of hose with a wand lip on the carpet (fabric) that is a leaking air through and around that fabric (not a perfect seal.) Booster will usually double you maximum hose length for cleaning and decrease your dry times.
Ear protection recommended if using in the same room as the cleaning.

Other Styles of vacuum boosters

Installation tips for Sandia and Mytee Machines with the black flip lift off lids: To mount the 6” ring, remove the 7” black ring off the Sandia machine. You will not be able to use the original holes and will have to fill them with silicone. Center the 6” ring over hole. If your wood screws do not hit plastic all the way around, you can switch from wood screws to stainless bolts with fender washers. The larger fender washer will reach over to the plastic to secure the 6” ring. See example of a fender washer on Amazon part number B01N6DY3NG To secure stainless bolds with fender washers you will have to remove the clear 6” center screw out portion. The bolts do not have to pass though plastic as the washer will grab the underside of the plastic to hold the ring secure. Some customer use a combination of wood screws in the plastic and toggle bolts or fender washers at location that do not have as much plastic. To see an example of a toggle bolt see Amazon item B09DPW53HR. As long as the new ring does not fall into the machine, it can be secured and then glued. I also had a customer that had a very odd shaped machine and was able to take a sheet plastic PVC and secure this to the top of the machine and then cut the required hole and mount the vacuum booster to the sheet plastic.
