Question: How does this model compare to the Cross American Jaguar 8.4?
Answer: The vacuum motors are similar as the 6.6 vacuum use 13 amps and the 8.4 use 13.5 amp. This means the vacuum on the Jaguar is 3.8% stronger. The water pressure pump and regulator are the same, both machines are suction feed water pumps.
Clean Storm Advantages: #1. The auto fill on the Clean Storm has chemical injection to meter in rinse aid product of choice. Jaguar does not offer chemical injection.
#2. The Clean Storm unit includes the fifty foot auto fill and dump hose and hose mount lint filter that is also not included on the Cross American model. To purchase these items separately would cost $250!
#3. The Clean Storm 'upright design' has the ability to travel up and down stairs and in and out of service vehicles easier than the Cross American body style. Now while both machines have similar total weight, the distance between the front to rear of the machine is less on the Clean Storm body. This means as I have the machine tilted back on its rear wheels the Clean Storm machines offer less effort to hold the machine at a tilt as less frontal weight is hanging in the air. The Cross American machine is much deeper front to rear and increases the resistance to pull back on the handle to travel up and down stairs.
#4. The auto pump out on the Cross American is rated at under 2 gpm, while the Clean Storm is 20 gpm. The Jaguar would offer minimal ability to offer non stop water evacuation /extraction for flooded carpets and floors. Question: Can a heater be installed under the hood?
Answer: No, as their is no electricity left! Each 13 amp vacuum motor is on its own power cord + one water pump. Dual 20 amp breakers is recommended to use full performance of the machine. We would recommend that you consider an external heater on its own power cord. Example Volcano 1750

Answer: Yes. If purchased from this webpage includes the parts below. While you could fill and drain the machine manually, you should consider the hot water hook up kit below to add automation to your cleaning day:

Question: Does the Pumptec 800 psi pump offer enough psi and gpm to operate a tile rinsing spinner tool?
Answer: The only spinner tool that I know the spinner factory states will work is the Mytee 8904 12" tool. By default it comes with the smaller 01 nozzles and easy to turn swivel. If you are going to attempt to use a spinner tool, I would suggest you upgrade to pressure feed water connection to add the extra 75 psi to your use pressure to help ensure this will work. Please note that suction feed water pumps use water pressure is about 75 psi less that pressure feed water pumps. Also spinner tool nozzles are spinning in the direction away from the surface. This means the water pressure is impacting the the floor with less water pressure than the same nozzle with a fixed jet tool.

Question: Can this machine be purchase without auto fill and dump?
Answer: We can order this machine to be build with auto fill and dump. To order without this feature just takes 2 weeks. This is the default design as the larger pump portable use up to 2 gallons a minute while your squeezing the cleaning tool trigger. This means you would empty out this machine in as fast as 10 minutes. With the upgraded vacuum and mostly 2" ID vacuum hose, you can clean 150 ft from the machine so, no need to have the machine follow you around the job or have to fill and drain. Just hook up in a central location, prespray, agitate and rinse the entire job without stopping.
