You can use the lower pressure setting for soap injection.
Please note when this is nozzle is new it will take more force to push/pull the plastic to toggle between high and low pressure.

Please note that not all variable adjustable nozzles have this push pull action to toggle between high and low pressure. That is what makes this a "Dual-Reg" nozzle.
