The Aquatec 58-ELK-120 is a compact, three-chamber diaphragm pump designed to provide water pressure on demand. When the cleaning tool is opened, system pressure drops and the pump turns on. When the tool is released and pressure reaches the switch setting, the pump automatically turns off.

Installation Notes

1. Disconnect the machine from electrical power before opening or servicing it.
2. Drain or empty the solution tank.

New Pump Runs but Does Not Move Water?

A replacement pump may run normally but fail to move water until trapped air is removed from the inlet line and pump head. This is commonly mistaken for a defective pump.

Basic priming procedure

2. Confirm that the tank outlet, inlet hose and filter are unobstructed.

Pump Pulses On and Off While Spraying

Pulsation does not automatically mean the pump is defective. A demand pump can build pressure faster than a very small spray tip releases water. The pressure switch then turns the pump off; continued spraying lowers the pressure and turns it back on.
