Description

Maximize your truckmount's performance with the Clean Storm 448020 2" FIP PVC Cap designed for Kunkle Vacuum Relief Air Valves. Standard on all MasterBlend El Diablo truckmounts, this setup allows you to run longer lengths of hose, dry carpets faster, and achieve superior deep-cleaning results by minimizing residual moisture in the carpet.

Traditional spring-loaded vacuum relief valves begin to compress and leak air into the waste tank as you add hose length or place the wand on the carpet. The Kunkle valve system stays completely closed until it reaches 14" HG of vacuum, opening fully when triggered and closing tightly when vacuum drops below 14" HG. This lets a #45 blower operate with up to 700 feet of hose, performing just like a larger #56 blower and effectively cutting dry times in half.

Installation & Customization: The valve mounts easily to any 2" MIP thread (typically on a "T" fitting right where the vacuum hose barbed fitting screws into the top or side of the waste tank). The included PVC cap is pre-drilled with four 11/32" holes and one 7/16" center hole for a #45 truckmount blower, and hole sizes can be adjusted based on your specific blower's CFM rating.
