Tips and Additional Information

When connecting solution lines to your extractor or wand, inspect brass quick disconnect O-rings for wear or cracking to prevent high-pressure leaks and pressure loss. Wrap male pipe threads with PTFE thread sealant tape or anaerobic thread sealant during any fitting replacement to ensure air-tight and water-tight seals. Ensure quick disconnects are fully snapped and locked in place before pressurizing solution lines to prevent accidental disconnect hazards under high PSI. Periodically adjust and tighten the included buckled Velcro straps to keep vacuum and fluid lines evenly aligned, reducing friction drag and preventing hose pinching during operation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will this hose set fit my standard portable carpet extractor?
A: Yes, as long as your extractor features standard 1.5-inch vacuum hose ports and 1/4-inch quick disconnect fittings, the Clean Storm 8500 hose set is universally compatible across most major equipment brands including Mytee, EDIC, and Clean Storm.

Q: Can I use this solution hose with heated extractors?
A: Absolutely. The 1/4-inch solution line is rated to handle working fluid temperatures up to 250°F and working pressures up to 3000 PSI, making it ideal for high-heat, high-pressure carpet extraction.

Q: What should I do if the vacuum hose color I receive differs from the online picture?
A: Hose colors are subject to manufacturing production shifts and are not guaranteed. However, color variation does not affect hose durability, pressure ratings, or operating specifications.

Warranty & Safety Information

This product is backed by the standard manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal commercial operation. Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by exceeding maximum pressure limits (3000 PSI) or temperature thresholds (250°F), chemical incompatibility from non-standard solvents or harsh acids, crushed cuffs due to improper storage, or physical cuts/abrasions incurred during jobsite transit. Always depressurize the solution line completely before disconnecting brass quick-connect fittings to avoid chemical spray exposure, high-pressure fluid injection injuries, or thermal burns.
