Description

The Clean Storm SS1404-06-06 is a high-performance 316 Stainless Steel non-live pipe swivel adapter designed for demanding hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial fluid transfer systems. Featuring a 3/8" MNPT (Male National Pipe Taper) to 3/8" FNPSM (Female National Pipe Straight Mechanical) connection, this fitting provides a secure, leak-resistant joint while easing alignment during installation.

Constructed from premium 316 Stainless Steel, this adapter offers superior corrosion resistance against harsh chemicals, saltwater, and extreme environments. Engineered as a non-live swivel, it allows smooth rotation for easy alignment and tightening during assembly. Once fully torqued, the swivel action locks into place and does not rotate under system pressure, ensuring a rigid, reliable connection. To disassemble or adjust, the swivel action can be broken loose again without damaging the threads.

Features

Premium 316 Stainless Steel Construction: High corrosion resistance ideal for marine, chemical, high-pressure washing, and industrial fluid applications.
Non-Live Swivel Functionality: Swivels freely during installation and alignment, then locks rigid once assembled (not intended to rotate under active fluid pressure).
High Pressure & Temperature Tolerances: Rated up to 5,000 PSI operating pressure and withstands extreme temperatures up to 1,000°F.
Standardized Threading: Features precision-machined 3/8" MNPT tapered male threads and 3/8" FNPSM straight mechanical female threads for reliable sealing.
Industry Compliance: Meets or exceeds ASME B1.20.1 and SAE AS71051 specifications.
Buy More & Save More: Bulk pricing options available for commercial contractors and OEMs.
