Description

The Clean Storm SS1404-06-08 is a heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant 316 Stainless Steel pipe swivel fitting designed for high-pressure fluid and hydraulic applications. Featuring a 3/8" Male NPTF tapered thread connection on one side and a 1/2" Female NPSM straight thread swivel connection on the other, this adapter provides compact, reliable connections in demanding environments.

Important Note on Swivel Action: This fitting is a Not Live swivel adapter. It is engineered to swivel strictly during assembly to facilitate alignment and easy installation in tight spaces. Once fully tightened and assembled, the swivel action ceases. It does not provide dynamic swivel movement under pressure. The swivel joint can be broken loose for maintenance or removal when unpressurized.

Ideal for use in pressure washers, chemical transfer lines, pneumatic systems, and harsh industrial fluid transfer environments where corrosion resistance and elevated pressure/temperature tolerances are required.

Features

Superior Corrosion Resistance: Constructed from high-grade 316 Stainless Steel for extreme durability and resistance to harsh chemicals and environmental exposure.
Assembly Swivel Design (Not Live): Swivels easily during installation to eliminate hose twisting and facilitate setup; locks solid once fully tightened and does not swivel under continuous fluid pressure.
High Pressure & Temperature Tolerances: Rated for severe operating conditions up to 5,000 PSI and temperature thresholds reaching 1,000°F.
Precision Threads: Combines 3/8-18 NPTF male tapered threads with 1/2-18 NPSM female straight swivel threads for secure, leak-resistant connection profiles.
Standards Compliant: Manufactured in accordance with ASME B1.20.1 and SAE AS71051 quality specifications.
