Lids: Roto-molded, hinged, flap lid on solution tank/Clear view poly dome lid on vacuum tank. The Sphere has a threaded clear vacuum tank lid with inner receiving ring gasket for positive seal. Vacuum connection is mounted on the “lift-off” vacuum tank/waste bucket. When the clear poly lid is removed, an opening is provided for cleaning of the waste tank and ball float shut-off screen.
Construction: Rotationally molded, faux granite finish, polyethylene solution tank and vacuum tank assembly. Rotationally molded black base with “rain gutter” lip between tanks, base and internal components provides spill proof operation when filling solution tank. All Switches are located on the vacuum tank/solution output side for spill proof operation and easy operator access. Solution and vacuum hose connections are located on the front/switch panel side of the units. Vacuum tank lifts off and doubles as a waste bucket. “Pig Tail” power cord(s) are located on the back of the unit. Unit is easily moved by using the vacuum tank handle. The units roll easily on 4 - 3” swivel casters.14/3 safety yellow “easy-detach” power cord(s) included. Units also include a 15’ high PSI rated solution hose, 15’- 1 1/4” vacuum hose. Units can be upgraded to provide 25’ solution and vacuum hose sets. Carpet and upholstery tools are sold separately.
Pump: Models are available with the choice of a 60 PSI or 100 PSI diaphragm demand/bypass pump, or 200 PSI, preset pressure, piston pump.
Vacuum(s): Models are available with the choice of a single 2-stage vacuum or single 3-stage vacuum. All the vacuums are epoxy coated, high efficiency, 5.7” and UL recognized.

Heater(s):
Immersion Heater – Some models are available with the choice of a 1750 watt immersion heater fixed in a Stainless Steel solution tank which is enclosed in the roto-molded solution tank housing. These, select unit choices, allow the solution in the solution tank to preheat up to 190 degrees prior to activating the pump and vacuum thus, allowing the machine to operate on a single 15 amp power supply. To obtain maximum efficiency it is recommended that the solution tank be filled with the hottest tap water prior to turning on the heater. The immersion heater is thermostatically controlled to 190 degrees with an additional high limit safety shut-off thermostat which, if activated, must be manually reset .
Heat Exchanger – Some models are available with 1750 watts of heat. Heater cartridges are inserted into the center of a 6 pound aluminum heat exchanger for maximum efficiency. Solution is pumped through the heat exchanger from the solution tank and heated prior to exiting the machine on an “on demand basis”. To obtain maximum efficiency it is recommended that the solution tank be filled with the hottest tap water prior to activating the pump, vacuum, and heater. Heater cartridges can be replaced without having to replace the entire heat exchanger. Heater is thermostatically controlled to 190 degrees with auxiliary thermostat for high limit safety shut-off. Components are covered by an insulated housing for added protection. Models with heat exchangers are dual cord units – 15 amps each circuit.
Serviceability: The Sphere models have an “easy access” base that is easily removed by loosening 2 bolts, on the bottom of the unit, when it is turned upside down. Components can easily be replaced with a few simple tools in a very short time. Components utilize a plug in system for wiring so each component can be easily unplugged and replaced.

While the Steambrite website DOES reflect what is available for purchase, it does NOT reflect available inventory at our local warehouse (San Antonio, TX). Special order, or custom build items may take up to 30 days to arrive, but orders shipped from within Steambrite's warehouse inventory are generally processed and shipped in 2-5 business days. Equipment small enough to be sent by ground should typically arrive within 3-5 business days after shipment. Oversized shipments could take in excess of 6-8 working days to arrive after shipment, and ground shipping times are not guaranteed.
