What This Pump Does

During dehumidifier operation, moisture removed from the air collects as liquid condensate. The condensate pump transfers this water out of the machine through the drain hose so the dehumidifier can operate continuously without requiring a collection tank to be emptied manually.

A failed, restricted or disconnected condensate pump may cause poor drainage, water accumulation inside the machine, repeated pump errors or automatic shutdown.

Before Replacing the Pump

Before ordering a replacement pump, inspect the complete condensate-drain system for:

Kinked or restricted drain tubing
Debris or buildup in the pump reservoir or tubing
A blocked or defective check valve
