The hazardous conditions of a flooded site present very specific cleaning issues. The Gulper floor pump is powerful enough to tackle the toughest recovery jobs, yet is easy to use. And its single power cord operation minimizes blown breakers and searching for additional circuits when electrical power is at a premium. The Gulper is extremely easy to operate and works very efficiently. The Gulper features a large 8 inch access cover to make clean up a snap. And, using an ordinary garden hose as a discharge hose allows you to use as many hoses as necessary to put the water exactly where you want it. At 70 lbs. the Gulper is the lightest weight flood pump available.

Q: What is the max length of vacuum hose this machine can operate?
A: 25 feet. You will not be able to use any additional vacuum hose with this unit.

Q. Are there strong vacuum / flood pumps available to work faster and with longer hose runs?
A: Yes, you can purchase electric flood pumpers on our website up to 75,000 vacuum units (500% more power) that operate 350 feet of vacuum hose and discharge over 30 Gpm.

Q. Do I have to use a garden hose to discharge the dirty water?
A. No. This 15 gallon vacuum recovery tank can be filled and drained manually if needed. Note if the tank is 15 gallons the usable space is about 10 gallon before dumping would be required.

Q: Can this machine be converted to a carpet cleaning machine?
A: Yes, simply purchase a stand alone pressure pump. Example see item 20170606

NOTES: 2025-05-29 No fresh water tank for cleaning, No clean water pressure pump for rinsing, No extraction wand included, No discharge garden hose included. Note video shows 2 vacuum motors under the hood but the schematics/parts list show only 1 vacuum motor under the hood. Steambrite believes that this machine can only have 1 power cord since this single power cord has to operate 1 vacuum motor and 1 discharge pump. If this machine had 2 vacuum motors under the hood it would have to use dual power cords on different breakers. The parts list states a X1038-Kit-3 Stage vacuum motor is installed. We believe this is also incorrect as if this motor is now a single stage vacuum motor is would be a 6.6" diameter vacuum motor instead. It might take Tacony some time to completely update the website information.

Equipment small enough to be sent by ground should typically arrive within 3-5 business days after shipment.
