Description

The US Products Kraken Flood Pumper is a high-flow water extraction machine built for flood response and large-scale water damage recovery.

Water damage restoration follows a defined sequence: extract bulk water first, then deploy air movers and dehumidifiers to dry residual moisture. The Kraken Flood Pumper handles the first phase — the 16" Flood Wand covers 33% more floor area per pass than a standard 12" carpet wand, which matters when standing water needs to be removed from large areas before dryout equipment can work effectively. Removing bulk water before airmover deployment also prevents motor damage from operating air movers in flooded conditions.

Flood pumpers and carpet extractors are not interchangeable. The Kraken is optimized for high-volume bulk water movement — it pumps water out at rates that exceed a carpet extractor's recovery tank capacity. After the Kraken removes standing water, a dual-vac carpet extractor (such as the Neptune or Pegasus series) handles the secondary wet-carpet extraction phase to remove embedded water from fiber and pad before dryout begins. Using a carpet extractor during the bulk water phase wastes time; using a flood pumper for the post-flood carpet phase misses embedded moisture.
