Anodized Aluminum Manifold Replacement for JRA19G17HE-F8 Nickel-Plated Brass Head Pump

The AR JRA1.9G17E-F8-RO is a compact horizontal triplex plunger pump designed for direct installation on compatible 1,750 RPM electric motors. It is supplied with an anodized aluminum manifold and is intended as the current replacement for the discontinued or superseded JRA19G17HE-F8 pump that used a nickel-plated brass manifold.

This pump is commonly used in compact pressure-washing systems, carpet-cleaning equipment, specialty wash systems, and other applications requiring approximately 1.9 gallons per minute at pressures up to 1,799 PSI.

Important Replacement Information

The replacement pump may not look identical to the older JRA19G17HE-F8 because the manifold material and exterior finish have changed. • Confirm that the motor is disconnected from electrical power before servicing.
• Inspect the motor shaft for corrosion, scoring, or damage before installing the new pump.
• Do not force the pump onto the motor shaft.
• Confirm that the drive key, set screw, mounting bolts, and flange alignment are correct for your application.
• Use suitable thread sealant on tapered pipe-thread fittings without allowing sealant to enter the pump.
• Do not operate the pump without an adequate water supply.
• Do not allow the pump to run in bypass for extended periods because recirculating water can overheat rapidly.
• A thermal relief valve is recommended when the system design permits prolonged bypass operation.
• Check pump oil level before startup and follow AR maintenance recommendations.
• Motor Compatibility: Designed for direct mounting to standard NEMA 56C-face electric motors with a 5/8-inch shaft operating at 1,750 RPM. Always verify shaft diameter, C-face dimensions, rotation, and horsepower before ordering.  Add grease on the motor shaft before bolting pump to motor.

Will the replacement look exactly like my original pump?
Not necessarily. The current replacement uses an anodized aluminum manifold, while some older pumps used a nickel-plated brass manifold. Color and exterior appearance may differ.

Can this pump be operated at 3,400 RPM?
No. This version is rated for approximately 1,750 RPM. Operating it substantially above its rated speed can damage the pump and create an unsafe operating condition.

Does this pump include oil?
Pumps are commonly shipped with crankcase oil, but the oil level should always be inspected before startup. Shipping orientation and handling can affect the indicated level.

Is this a complete pressure-washer pump assembly?
This is the pump itself. Reuse or separately purchase the correct unloader, regulator, fittings, hoses, couplers, and safety devices required by your equipment.
