The Sandia 30-2002 Super Hipster is a professional 6-quart commercial hip vacuum designed to give the operator the mobility of a backpack vacuum without carrying the vacuum high on the back. Its compact waist-mounted configuration helps make cleaning hallways, offices, hotel rooms, stairs and other congested areas easier than maneuvering a conventional upright or canister vacuum.

This model produces up to 150 CFM airflow from its 1.5 HP, single-stage motor while operating at approximately 69 dB. The vacuum uses a disposable heavy-duty paper Micro-Bag installed inside a washable cloth shakeout bag, and an internal bag support plate helps prevent the filter bag from restricting airflow as it fills.

The 30-2002 configuration includes Sandia's Power Head Accessory. Sandia identifies the powerhead package as 10-0164, which includes the power vacuum head, wand and required electrical fittings. This powered floor head provides mechanical agitation for more effective pickup from carpeted surfaces compared with a conventional non-powered floor tool.
