My Solo 456HD is over 20 years old and still going strong. I lubricate it in the piston area and around the seal each time I use it. I do not store any product in it, and I do not store it in a pressurized state. I have never had to rebuild it, change any parts or service it any any way other than lubrication and cleaning (filter located behind spray jet). I do not store my sprayer in a manner that will kink my hose. I professionally cleaned and restored over 20,000,000 sq ft of carpet cleaning and water damage restoration. I also live on a 1/2 acre lot and process over 100 gallons of herbicide and 100 gallons of insecticide a year with this sprayer.
