The Vacu-Boom C-2 Replacement End Cap installs at the end of a modular Vacu-Boom wastewater-recovery assembly. It closes the end of the boom while providing the connection point for the system's vacuum hose.

This replacement end cap can be used to replace a missing, worn or damaged end cap on a Vacu-Boom VB20-VR1B wastewater recovery system and other compatible Vacu-Boom configurations.

Connects the Vacu-Boom to the Recovery Vacuum

A Vacu-Boom system uses a modular hollow boom to capture wastewater and other liquid runoff from a hard surface. Vacuum pressure pulls the boom against the surface while collected liquid enters the boom through openings along its lower edge.

The C-2 end cap closes the end of the Vacu-Boom assembly and provides the connection through which airflow and recovered liquid travel to the vacuum system.

Connecting Clip Required

A compatible Vacu-Boom connecting clip is required to attach this end cap to a Vacu-Boom section. The connecting clip is not included with this replacement end cap and must be reused from the existing system or purchased separately.

This replacement end cap is intended for compatible modular Vacu-Boom wastewater recovery and spill-containment equipment, including the:

Vacu-Boom systems have been manufactured in multiple sizes and configurations. Compare the existing end cap, boom connection and vacuum-hose connection before ordering.

Typical Reasons for Replacement

Installation

1. Turn off and disconnect the recovery vacuum.
2. Remove the connecting clip from the existing Vacu-Boom end cap.
3. Remove the damaged or worn end cap.
4. Inspect and clean the end of the Vacu-Boom section.
5. Position the replacement end cap against the boom section.
6. Secure the end cap using the appropriate Vacu-Boom connecting clip.
7. Connect the existing vacuum hose to the end-cap hose connection.
8. Start the vacuum and inspect the assembly for air or liquid leakage.
