Westpak 10-1460 12-Inch Dual-Jet Carpet Cleaning Wand with 1200-PSI Valve

Two-Jet Coverage with a 12-Inch Low-Profile Head
The two spray jets distribute cleaning solution across the 12-inch cleaning path while the stainless-steel vacuum head recovers loosened soil and moisture. The double-bend tube and low-profile head help the operator reach beneath furniture and work comfortably across open carpeted areas.
This wand is suitable for professional carpet cleaners using compatible portable extractors or truckmount systems. Always match the 1-1/2-inch vacuum connection, solution connection, operating pressure and jet configuration to your equipment before ordering.
Quick-Disconnect Coupler Selection
The selected quick-disconnect coupler is installed on the wand and included with your purchase. The default selection is a 1/4-inch male brass carpet-cleaning-style quick disconnect. A 1/4-inch female brass carpet-cleaning-style coupler is available through the product-option menu for an additional charge.
Confirm which coupler gender mates with the end of your existing solution hose. The words male and female refer to the quick-disconnect connection—not the threads used to attach the coupler to the wand hose.
Correct Assist-Handle Position Reduces Operator Strain
Before adding a glide solely because the wand feels difficult to push, check the adjustable assist-handle position. Mount the handle at the highest practical point on the wand, stand upright and keep your chest parallel with the wand head. Proper handle placement allows the operator to push the wand forward during the dry stroke without unnecessary bending or twisting.
Watch our wand operation and assist-handle positioning video for a practical demonstration.
Optional Westpak 10-0890 PTFE Wand Glide
The Westpak 10-1460 accepts the optional Westpak 10-0890 12-inch PTFE wand glide, sold separately.
A compatible glide can reduce wand-to-floor friction and help protect tile, vinyl and other hard flooring when recovering water. It does not increase the extractor's vacuum power. Every service vehicle should carry a compatible glide so the technician is prepared for hard-floor water recovery without dragging the stainless-steel wand head directly across the floor.
For temporary hard-floor use, install the glide securely according to the glide manufacturer's directions. If the glide will remain on the wand for daily use, it may be sealed around the perimeter with the appropriate adhesive after confirming fit and operating preference.

10-1460 Versus 10-1455
The Westpak 10-1460 uses a flexible solution hose rated up to 3,000 PSI between the trigger valve and the two-jet manifold. The similar Westpak 10-1455 uses rigid stainless-steel tubing in this location.
Important: The 3,000-PSI specification is the rating of the 10-1460 solution hose—not the recommended operating pressure of the complete wand. Maximum system pressure is determined by the lowest-rated component. This wand is equipped with a valve rated up to 1,200 PSI.
