The Extraction Tool makes fast work of any flood extraction job. Its patent-pending glide creates a powerful seal to maximize carpet compression while still allowing enough airflow to ensure thorough water removal from all carpet types. A convenient vacuum break lever allows for smooth operation, no matter the carpet type. Plus, the tool is comfortable to operate and easy to clean out and comfortable to operate even on the largest projects.

But the Dri-Eaz Extraction Tool is ergonomically designed plus it's equipped with a vacuum break lever. A quick flick of the lever is all it takes to release the tool and resume extraction. This means smooth extraction.

Improve extraction effectiveness with these simple techniques

Regardless of the type of vacuum equipment used, following some common-sense techniques can really increase your overall extraction performance:

When excessive contents are present during restoration, extract the center of the room first to minimize content handling and speed the process. Then move contents to the center of the room, protect contents, and extract the perimeter.
Keep the extraction hose as short as possible because resistance increases with hose length.
Use the largest diameter of extraction hose approved for the tool and vacuum (refer to the manual). For portable deep extraction tools it's usually 2" (5 cm). Some truckmount units use 2 ½" vacuum hoses.
Avoid loops and bends - they reduce extraction efficiency.
"Live" or "active" hose reels, while great for carpet cleaning, shouldn't be used for extraction. In other words, un-spool all the vacuum hose off the live reel if you use one. Don't have the water up down and round the reel over and over.
