Pumptec notes that this plunger pump design can produce up to 20% more pressure or flow for a given power input compared with some competitive pump styles.

Installation Tip

When rebuilding the pump, inspect the valves, O-rings, check valves, cam bearing, and manifold condition at the same time. Replacing only the plunger and seals may not correct the problem if the pump also has worn valves, cracked manifold parts, chemical damage, or debris lodged in the valve seats.
