PMF CV20B 18-Inch External-Spray Crevice Extraction Tool with 500-PSI Brass Valve
Apply cleaning solution and recover it from narrow spaces that conventional upholstery tools and carpet wands cannot reach. The PMF CV20B combines a slim stainless-steel vacuum pickup, an exposed external spray jet and a trigger-operated brass valve. Its narrow profile is ideal for automotive detailing, carpet edges, spaces between cushions and other confined cleaning areas.

Clean Confined Areas with Spray and Vacuum Recovery
Unlike a vacuum-only crevice attachment, the CV20B applies cleaning solution through an exposed spray jet positioned near the narrow vacuum pickup. The open external-spray configuration allows the technician to see where the solution is being applied and immediately recover the loosened soil and moisture.
The 8-inch flattened section reaches alongside vehicle seats, between removable cushions, against carpet edges and into other spaces where a standard upholstery tool is too wide.
500-PSI Brass Valve
The CV20B is equipped with PMF’s trigger-operated brass valve rated for pressures up to 500 PSI. The brass-valve configuration provides a higher pressure rating than the CV20A aluminum-valve model.
The 500-PSI specification is the maximum rating of the valve configuration—not a recommendation to clean every material at 500 PSI. Because this tool has an exposed external spray, begin at a low pressure and increase it only as required for the material and cleaning application. Excessive pressure can produce unnecessary overspray or force moisture into areas that should remain dry.
For regular operation at higher pressures or for applications where spray containment is important, consider a PMF internal-spray crevice tool.
Common Applications
- Automotive carpet beside seats and center consoles
- Spaces between removable upholstery cushions
- Carpet edges, seams and perimeter areas
- Along baseboards and permanently installed objects
- Recreational vehicles, boats and transportation interiors
- Detail cleaning where conventional extraction tools are too wide
- Narrow areas requiring both solution application and vacuum recovery

What Is Included?
- One PMF CV20B stainless-steel crevice tool
- One external spray assembly
- One 500-PSI brass trigger valve
- One approximately 1-foot high-pressure solution whip
Not included: Vacuum hose, extractor, solution hose and quick-disconnect coupler are not included unless specifically selected or added separately.
Quick-Disconnect Selection
The solution whip must be fitted with a quick-disconnect plug or coupler compatible with your existing solution hose. Carpet-cleaning systems commonly use a 1/4-inch male plug on the tool, but configurations vary.
Do not select a connector based only on its approximate size. Confirm the connector type, gender and thread connection used by your solution hose before ordering. Quick-disconnect options selected on this page are supplied at the additional price shown.
Important Use Information
- Test the tool and cleaning solution in an inconspicuous area first.
- Begin with low solution pressure, especially on upholstery and vehicle interiors.
- Keep the external spray directed toward the vacuum pickup.
- Avoid spraying electrical components, switches and sensitive interior materials.
- Relieve solution-line pressure before disconnecting or servicing the tool.
- Flush chemical residue from the solution path after use.
- Inspect the hose, valve, jet and connections before every job.
Open-Spray Notice: This tool does not enclose or fully contain the solution spray. The operator is responsible for controlling pressure, spray direction, temperature and chemical selection for the surface being cleaned.
Specifications and appearance are subject to manufacturer changes. Product images are for general configuration reference; orders are fulfilled according to the PMF CV20B part number.
Note: Quick disconnects are not included with tool. Please add connectors to your shopping cart...
