Description

Thoroughbred is a high gloss acrylic emulsion floor finish, designed to beautify and protect resilient and non resilient floors. Thoroughbred was designed to be used with high-speed maintenance equipment. This products quick response to the heat generated by high-speed burnishing substantially reduces the time required for removing black heel marks, scratches, and scuffs from heavily trafficked areas when dry or spray-buffing techniques are used. Excellent depth of gloss, outstanding leveling, and ease of application will make this your go to floor finish. Slip resistance meets or exceeds (ASTM D 2047-93) James Machine 0.5 minimum.

Directions

For best results apply full strength over freshly stripped and rinsed floor. Apply first coat lightly, being more concerned with even coverage than quantity of finish applied. Allow approximately 30 to 40 minutes drying time, and then apply a second coat a little heavier than the first. Continue to apply additional coats until the desired gloss level and coverage is achieved. Dry times will vary based on the conditions, but will typically require 30 ‐ 60 minutes between coats. Please allow 24 hours cure time after last coat before high speed burnishing with a pad any darker than beige. Under some conditions burnishing between coats can be performed if proper care is taken to test prior to doing.
