How Does the Karcher Eco!Booster Actually Work?

The Karcher Eco!Booster 3000 uses advanced water-flow engineering to clean larger surfaces faster while using the same pressure washer output. Unlike a traditional flat fan nozzle, the Eco!Booster creates a highly controlled wide cleaning ribbon that maintains strong impact over a larger cleaning area.

What Are the Side Air Slots For?

Many customers notice the side openings on the Eco!Booster nozzle and ask if the attachment pulls in air. The answer is: yes, most likely.

The Eco!Booster appears to use a Venturi-style air induction effect. As high-pressure water accelerates through the internal nozzle chamber, it creates a low-pressure area that pulls in surrounding air through the side ports.

This air entrainment helps:

Stabilize the spray pattern
Create a wider cleaning path
Reduce turbulence and overspray mist
Keep the water sheet concentrated farther from the surface
Lower operating noise
Improve cleaning efficiency across larger areas

Does It Increase PSI?

No. The Eco!Booster does not magically increase the pressure washer's PSI rating. Instead, it improves how the existing water energy is distributed across the cleaning surface.

This allows users to clean wider areas faster while still maintaining strong cleaning performance.
