The Clean Storm 20151118 Vacu-Whip Air Duct Cleaning Package combines the major equipment needed to begin professional HVAC air duct and dryer vent cleaning into one coordinated package. The system combines compressed-air agitation with vacuum collection to loosen and remove dust, lint and debris from residential and commercial ductwork.
At the heart of the package is the 33-foot Clean Storm Vacu-Whip. An internal pneumatic hose supplies compressed air to interchangeable cleaning heads while the surrounding 2-inch vacuum hose simultaneously collects loosened debris. This allows the technician to agitate and vacuum ductwork during the same cleaning process.
18.5 CFM Puma Honda Air Compressor
Air volume is extremely important when operating pneumatic duct-cleaning tools. A small compressor may produce adequate pressure initially but can require repeated pauses while its storage tank recovers.
The Vacu-Whip can operate with compressors producing approximately 6 CFM, but approximately 12 CFM or greater is recommended for continuous professional cleaning.

The Puma PUK-8008HGE features an 8 HP Honda GX240 commercial gasoline engine, 8-gallon twin tanks, belt-driven cast-iron compressor pump, electric start and a 100% duty-cycle design.
Important: The Puma electric-start system does not include the starting battery or battery cable. These must be supplied separately if electric-start operation is desired.
Simultaneous Duct Agitation and Vacuum Collection
Unlike an air-only skipper-line system, the Clean Storm Vacu-Whip places the pneumatic cleaning line inside the 2-inch vacuum hose. Compressed air powers the cleaning attachment at the end of the hose while the vacuum hose collects loosened contaminants immediately around the cleaning area.
The internal line is constructed using lightweight, flexible hose selected to provide enough stiffness to help advance the Vacu-Whip through ductwork while keeping the complete assembly manageable for the technician.

33-Foot Vacu-Whip Assembly
The standard package includes approximately 33 feet of 2-inch professional vacuum hose with the pneumatic line installed inside the hose.
The assembly uses a PMF 2-inch Hide-A-Hose swivel cuff modified to allow the internal air line to transition from inside the vacuum hose to the external compressor connection.
At the cleaning end, the Vacu-Whip incorporates a quick-disconnect connection that allows compatible cleaning heads to be changed as job conditions require.
Optional 50-foot and 100-foot Vacu-Whip configurations are available from the product options when additional reach is required.
