Clean Storm AH42 is a standard replacement vacuum hose cuff for 1.5 inch carpet cleaning, extractor, janitorial, truckmount, portable extractor, and wet/dry vacuum hoses. One end slips over a 1.5" male wand/tool connection, while the threaded end screws onto standard 1.5" vacuum hose. "Fits most 1.5 inch carpet cleaning vacuum hoses used on portable extractors and truckmount equipment"

Fitment Notes

This cuff screws over the outside of standard 1.5" vacuum hose.
The slip end is designed to connect to 1.5" vacuum tools, wands, hose joiners, and machine ports.

When Should This Cuff Be Replaced?

Vacuum hose keeps falling off the wand or machine.
Old cuff is cracked, split, flattened, or leaking vacuum.
Threaded hose end is stripped or no longer grips the hose.
You are building or repairing a 1.5" vacuum hose assembly.

Installation Tip

Remove the old cuff by twisting it counterclockwise from the hose. Install the new AH42 cuff by threading it clockwise onto the hose until tight. If the hose end is stretched or damaged, trim the hose back slightly before installing the new cuff. Some cuffs are glued on so you can use a stake knife to cuff off the glue cuff and screw on this new replacement.
