The SHURflo 2088-343-135 is a positive-displacement, three-chamber diaphragm pump designed for agricultural spraying, chemical transfer, spot spraying and other moderate-pressure liquid applications. Its automatic demand switch starts and stops the pump as fluid demand changes.

This model uses Viton valves, a Santoprene diaphragm and a polypropylene pump housing for improved chemical resistance. The pressure switch is factory set to shut off at approximately 45 PSI.

When a spray valve or outlet is opened, system pressure drops and the pump automatically starts. When the outlet is closed and pressure reaches the switch setting, the pump shuts off. Rapid cycling may indicate a restricted outlet, undersized plumbing, air leak, clogged strainer or improper pressure-switch setting.

Installation Recommendations

• Install a properly sized fuse or circuit breaker close to the 12-volt power source.
• Use adequately sized wiring to minimize voltage loss.
• Install a clean inlet strainer before the pump.
• Use flexible hose near the pump to reduce vibration and noise.
