Question: I just want to know if the hose can be cut to a shorter length, I don’t want to mess it up

Answer: Yes, we commonly cut these hoses with a box cutter or stake knife and screw on new hose cuffs. The current hose cuffs are glued on so cannot be relocated. See part numbers that might help you:
Clean Storm AH44 Standard 2” hose cuff with 2” slip connection
Clean Storm AH48 Screws on to 2” vacuum hose and provides a 1.5” slip connection.
Clean Storm AH39 Screws onto 2” vacuum hose and provides a swivel connection.
